A Note From Kaelie
I am a trauma specialist and create a safe space for you to share your story; entering the therapeutic relationship with openness and curiosity. If you are looking to unpack negative or unhelpful beliefs instilled by trauma, heal from emotional exhaustion after prioritizing others’ needs before your own, or wanting to learn how to regulate your overactive nervous system to find inner peace; you're in the right place! With meaningful connection, collaboration and honest feedback, growth and change can happen. We can’t erase hard things that have happened to you, but they do not define the whole of who you are or what you’re capable of doing in this life. As Brene Brown says, “our job is not to deny the story, but to defy the ending - to rise strong, recognize our story, and rumble with the truth until we get to the place where we think, yes. This is what happened. And I will choose how the story ends.”

While I provide clinical expertise, I honor that you are the expert on yourself, your values, and your culture. I strive to meet you where you are, working together to make decisions about your treatment. I view myself as your guide to connecting with your body-mind-emotions, and you can expect a warm, judgment free space when meeting with me. By integrating an eclectic approach, I individualize treatment uniquely to you; using a variety of evidence-based therapy models such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT). I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, body positive, sex/kink friendly, and incorporate skills such as mindfulness, somatic awareness, psychodynamic and feminist theories. Together, we will create a roadmap to living an authentic, self-compassionate, and balanced life that is aligned with your values. Healing is possible, and you are worthy of showing up for yourself in this way.
